INTERPRETATION  is the Process of educating visitors to national parks and other Cultural or historical Facilities through the use of signs, markers, etc.

Interpretation is the print materials, signage, narration, guided tours, and anything that "interprets" the site for the visitor. Interpretation helps the customer "interpret" the experience and explains why a particular product is valuable. Interpretation adds value and meaning to the experience. Common interpretation techniques used in ecotourism include commentary on guided tours, presentations and discussions, drama performance, musical performance, brochures, signs, displays, and audiovisual presentations (NEAP, 2000).
