Automatic Form Number Reader (AFNR)  is a feature of a Guest Bill (check) printer that helps order entry procedures. A barcode imprinted on the Guest Bill presents the bill's serial number in a machine-readable format, rather than the server having to manually input the bill serial number to access the account.
